End cap and cable gland made of tough, non-corrosive glass-reinforced nylon. The standard underwater thru-hull fixture may be used with a 50W MR16 halogen reflector bulb. The 35W HID Xenon Version comes standard with an IP65 ballast complete with preformed cabling and AMP connectors. For uneven inner mounting surfaces, an optional self-leveling mounting kit is available and includes a floating bronze clamp ring and 4 bronze set screws. A 4' extension harness is also available for locating ballast in a remote location. Thermal cut-out switch will prevent overheating should the unit be left on while hull is out of the water when planing or during haul-out. Casing and bezel are made from 316 Stainless Steel. Also included is a top quality Osram Metal Halide lamp & ballast. Ballast housing is complete with weather-proof connectors and pre-formed cabling.
