COUNTER ROTATING DUAL PROPELLER OR SINGLE PROPELLER
Most WESMAR thruster models can be provided in either single or dual propeller configurations. WESMAR’s counter
rotating propeller design was developed by WESMAR to provide up to 40% more thrust with the same tunnel size
and with the same input power. Most builders and after-market bow and stern thruster users select dual propeller
thrusters as the best value equipment on the market.
The counter rotating dual prop design is WESMAR’s invention, since copied by several companies. Do not accept
a knock off design for your vessel.
THRUSTER TUNNELS
WESMAR offers fiberglass tunnels in the appropriate
thickness for the thruster size. We strongly recommend
that builders and after market installers not skimp on
tunnel design.
Steel and aluminum tunnels can be provided to match hull
material specifications.
Bow and Stern thrusters come complete with hydraulic or electric motor, motor adapter, couplings, 2 each
Stainless Steel - 4 blade Kaplan propellers, 2 each zinc nut assembly, 90W + gear oil pre-filled in drive leg,
owners manual, mounting saddle, oil reservoir fill and breather vents.
