The Dometic SeaStar HC54453 is a high-performance, front-mount (pivoting) hydraulic steering cylinder engineered for multi-engine outboard installations. Built to handle today’s heavier, higher-horsepower packages, it features rugged marine-grade construction, a new 8-hole end-gland sealing system, and positionable stainless-steel ORB (-5) hose fittings for superior sealing and cleaner hose routing.

This model is the stroke-reduced variant in the SeaStar family-ideal where bracket clearances or geometry require a shorter throw-delivering precise, predictable steering feel without sacrificing strength. With enhanced durability and full compatibility with SeaStar helm pumps and Power Assist systems, the HC5445-3 is an excellent choice for center consoles, offshore fishers, and performance cruisers that demand reliable control in real-world conditions.
