BayStar HK4300-4 Hydraulic Marine Steering Kit

The Dometic SeaStar HK43004 Baystar Steering Kit is for single helm, single outboard boats that reach speeds of 55 mph and 150hp. If your boat can reach over 55mph, or a pontoon you'll need a Seastar kit.

Important: BayStar Helm Update to -4

The latest series of helms have been redesigned to provide a better experience for the vessel operator:

• New valve technology ensures tighter, quieter, and more responsive steering, while minimizing the potential for chattering when dealing with overrunning steering loads.
• More durable check valves, making the entire steering system more resilient to the rigors of trailering.
• Revamped Design to enhance their aesthetics, and has introduced a new fill port plug design for easier maintenance.
• Kits with hoses are discontinued, you can add hoses at an extreme discount above.
• HK4300-4 replaces the HK4300A-3, HK4300 and is the direct replacement

Choose Hose Length & Fitting Style:

• Add any HO5100 steering hose length with the drop down above, including odd part numbers.
  
• Choose to upgrade the hose fittings to stainless steel, ideal for salt water applications.
• These options are specific to Seatech Marine Products.
• NOTE: HO5100 are being replaced with the part number HO5900. The only change is the part number and packaging, nothing with the actual part.

• Shaft Size: 3/4" Taper
• HC4645-3 Compact Outboard Cylinder
• 5.2 turns lock to lock
• Displacement: 7.30in³/rev
• Includes a HA5438 Bottle Fill Kit
• Can be swapped to another BayStar cylinder using one of the Conversion Kits below
• HA5430H SeaStar Hydraulic Steering Fluid
• Quantity: 2 Quarts

• HO5100 10-35' Standard Hoses

  • NOTE: Hoses purchased with this kit are 60% cheaper than purchasing alone
