It includes the necessary components to refresh worn shaft seals, secure the helm shaft, and ensure long-lasting performance with leak-free operation.

This kit is compatible with many popular helm models, including HH5271-3, HH5770-3, and HH4314-3, making it a go-to solution for routine helm service.

Installation Notes (Simplified Steps)

  1. Remove steering wheel and woodruff key.
  2. Remove top plate screws (not included in kit).
  3. Replace old seal with new Quad Ring Seal (lubricate lightly).
  4. Align CE mark at top center and reinstall top plate.
  5. Torque screws to 6–9 in-lbs.
  6. Grease shaft and torque shaft nut to 150 in-lbs (max 200 in-lbs).
  7. Refill and purge steering system of air.
